Performance Driven Demand Supply Governance
Even DSG organizations need to continue evolving in order to remain of benefit to the organization. Whereas the focus has been on process-related aspects of governing sourcing relationships, this will be visibly shifting in the years ahead to a more results-oriented approach – process-driven demand supply governance. Characteristic of this form of governance is the explicit focus that will be placed on overall organizational results based on a clearly presented KPI dashboard – a prime example being the TansTech Navigator. This involves monitoring and realizing business cases for the various sourcing initiatives, but also working on attitudes and conduct of all staff involved in providing services throughout the entire supply chain – DSG organization, customers and suppliers – while adhering to a pre-defined framework, embedded processes and installed tooling for the purpose of providing optimal service.
